2 de dic. de 2022 · Mission of Burma - Get Off In 2016 Toronto noise-rock behemoths METZ teamed up with Boston post-punk legends Mission of Burma on a split single for Record Store Day. METZ contributed a cover of “Good, Not Great,” a track from Mission of Burma’s 2006 album The Obliterati, while Mission of Burma covered METZ’s 2012 anthem, “Get Off,” from their self-titled debut.
20 de dic. de 2006 · Mission of Burma was a great and original band who recorded some of the most memorable underground rock in the early 80's. Unfortunately this cd does not bear that out. Aside from the powerfull "Forget" and the fantastic "Progress" much of this album is forgetable.

Forget Mission of Burma empties the vaults further for an album of previously unreleased songs given basic studio treatment. Two are 1979 4-track sessions, eight are from a 1980 Electro Acoustic studio session and two are from a 1982 Radiobeat session.
