Voltaire’s debut The Devil’s Bris is just a bit over 45 minutes (45:05 to be exact) and you will wish that it was longer, I assure you. The album starts off with ‘Ex Lover’s Lover’ a brutally bitter and twisted tale (complete with Man Bites Dog references) which would make one think that Mr. Voltaire has been somewhat slighted by the fair sex.

It was released in 1998 by Projekt Records. The album's title is derived from the juxtaposition of the figure of the devil and the Jewish circumcision ritual, the bris milah.
