By the time Debravation was released Debbie Harry was 48 years old, no longer Blonde, and eager to shake off the ghost of Blondie. Harry and Stein begun work on the album in late 1990/Early 1991 and had a clear idea about the kind of record they wanted to make. No big name producers,a gritty dark rock and roll record.
