I saw this pop up on the Eddie Hazel facebook page a month ago, and had never heard any of this info about Billy "Bass" Nelson. I think it's common knowledge that many musicians working under or with George Clinton weren't adequately compensated for their contributions to the funk, but this heart breaking post was news to me. Can anyone dispute or verify any of this?
