Stewkey was not only an exceptional musician but also a kind and gentle soul who touched the lives of many. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
11 de mar. de 2024 · About Nazz. The Pennsylvania-based psychedelic-pop band the Nazz were led by guitarist/songwriter Todd Rundgren and singer Stewkey. Named after a Lord Buckley beatnik monologue about Jesus, they had a hit with “Open My Eyes,” a sonic cousin of the Who's “Can't Explain” that also marked the band as first-generation power-poppers.
