Being a huge Motown fan from the 60's and a Doobie Bros fan from the 70's, Michael McDonald's interest in perpetuating Motown music is, for me, the combined best of both worlds. This is a TV Soundstage performance so I wish it were longer, but the performances were great (a phenomenal, kick-ass female drummer) and lots of super guest artists so I love the DVD.
