Both had different reactions to it and both had their whole lives consumed by it. Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays Neil, and does an outstanding job. Neil is a male prostitute, cold and heartless on the outside, but lonely and miserable on the inside.
Mysterious Skin is a powerful and disturbing film that explores the effects of childhood trauma on two young men who were abused by their baseball coach. One of them becomes a hustler in the gay underworld, while the other is haunted by visions of aliens and lost time. Watch it now on Prime Video.
