Go war eine von Stomu Yamashta (Perkussion und Synthesizer) gegründete Band, die auf Grund der zahlreichen bekannten Mitglieder, u. a. Steve Winwood (Gesang und Keyboard), Al Di Meola (Gitarre), Klaus Schulze (Synthesizer), Pat Thrall (Gitarre) oder Michael Shrieve (Schlagzeug), auch als Supergruppe galt.

29 de ene. de 2007 · Let me start by saying my first Stomu Yamashta media was an 8-track of Go Too. I was hooked. I also have the albums of Go and Go Too (at least 3 of each due to trying to find the perfect album back in the day, with no pops or crackles) but due to the style of this artist, there always seemed to be a pop or crackle in the soft parts.

28 de sept. de 2015 · Along with Stomu Yamashta the pair co-produced Go’s debut album. It was recorded in New York in February 1976, and released in April 1976. When Go was released in April 1976, critics were already familiar with Stomu Yamashta’s music. By then, he was almost a veteran. Stomu Yamashta helped popularise world music back in the sixties.
