D-Metal Stars: Label: Disney (2016) : Heavy metal musicians that comprise the "D-Metal Stars" include: Obsession vocalist Mike Vescera, who's previously worked with Yngwie Malmsteen, & former Ozzy Osbourne bassist Rudy Sarzo. Obsession guitarist John Bruno and drummer BJ Zampa, who's played Lords & Maxx Explosion.
Drummer BJ Zampa (Dokken, House of Lords) pounds out thunderous beats with a huge groove that locks in the band on every note; he also contributes harmony vocals. Bassist Brian Camilleri rounds out the rhythm section, laying down the low-end thunder and locking in with BJ, to create a solid musical foundation.
Within a couple of months of the announcement, Don Dokken added that Brown was permanently retiring, with his temporary replacement Bill "BJ" Zampa of House of Lords taking his place in the group.
