  7. Philip J. Murray–Wright High School was a controversial secondary school in the downtown of Detroit, Michigan, United States. It was operated by Detroit Public Schools. Prior to its closure in 2007, the school served Downtown Detroit, Midtown Detroit, and a portion of New Center. Currently Douglass High school occupies the former Murray–Wright.
