I have to disagree with Mrs. Reynolds. It is true, perhaps, that the songs on 'Ute Lemper Sings Weill Vol. 1' are more immediately attractive (and generally better known), but the songs here are full of interest, and as with Vol. 1 the singing is expert, full of character and individuality, and the band plays really punchily.
