Arctic Fest is an annual festival that features the arts, sciences, and Indigenous cultural and knowledge systems, all focused on our changing environment. The inaugural Arctic Fest will be held Aug. 28-Sept. 3, 2022, in Fairbanks Alaska.
Mary Beth Leigh is the director of the ITOC program, which she co-founded in 2007. As a professor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF), she teaches and conducts research in environmental microbiology and the integration of the arts, humanities, and sciences.
