Crimson peak má atmosféru, skvělé herce a většina filmu je obětována vizuálnímu vnímání režiséra. Bohužel je to jeho 9. film, který jsem viděl a stále si myslím, že do svých filmů nedokáže vložit všechno, co by mohl, jako by chyběla ta třesnička na závěr, kterou třeba Kubrick dal do Osvícení nebo Coppolla do Draculy.
