  1. Joining CTYI - Older Students. Students who wish to take part in CTYI or CAT Older Student programmes should take part in the assessment for secondary school students aged 12-16. Our assessments for secondary school students have finished for this year, the new application form will be available here in September 2024.

  2. The Centre for Talented Youth-Ireland (CTYI) continues this tradition by utilizing standardized tests to find primary and secondary students who perform at the 95th percentile and above. These students are often not well served by school systems that focus on the development of average ability students, as is generally the case across Ireland (O’Reilly, 2013).

  3. This year, it is 30 years since the Center for Talented Youth Ireland was established in DCU. Known as CTY Ireland, it provides opportunities and courses for young people from the ages of six to seventeen, who have high academic ability or are bright and motivated.

  4. Join us for a free webinar or event. The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization serving bright learners and their families. Contributions are tax deductible. Online and summer gifted programs for young scholars in grades 2-12, education and guidance for families of gifted and talented youth.

  5. The Centre for Talented Youth, Ireland Saturday Programmes. Saturday programmes take place each Autumn (October to December) and Spring (February to April). Courses are available for both 6-7 year olds and 8-12 year olds. Saturday programmes usually run over an eight week period.

  6. CTY Ireland would like to connect with our alumni! Since 1993, tens of thousands of students have passed through our doors and formed a legacy of CTYI traditions and friendships that have stood the test of time. We have been lucky to have alumni return to work with us, take part in research projects and attend CTYI events.
