Joy is preceded in passing by her mother, Anna Pauline Miller; her husband of 65 years, Robert Glenn Segraves, Jr.; her daughter, Kathleen Marie Ball; her grandson, Zachary Adam Christian Hummel; and her sister-in-law and best friend, Beatrice Rutledge.
