12 de mar. de 2005 · I always loved the chance to perform and create music, from the very first, when we—Danny Hutton, Cory Wells, and I—got together. We were really very lucky young guys.
None of that mattered to Danny Hutton, all that he cared about was their singer Cory Wells. But Hutton knew that timing was everything, and while The Enemy’s were achieving a modicum of local fame, he knew he wouldn’t be able to prise Wells away from the band. A year later, The Enemy’s split and Wells left Los Angeles and headed for Phoenix.
Danny Hutton is most famous as one of the three lead singers in Three Dog Night, but he did have a solo career prior to helping found that band in the late '60s. In the mid-'60s, he put out a few singles on the Hanna-Barbera and MGM labels.

24 de feb. de 2016 · It takes a special breed to put down serious roots in Laurel Canyon, California — and that’s exactly what Three Dog Night vocalist Danny Hutton did more than four decades ago. “I bought my house from Alice Cooper in 1977 or ’78, and Micky Dolenz [of The Monkees] lived next door,” Hutton recalls.
