The songs "Fake Empire" and "Start a War" were featured. Music videos and a full-length documentary on the band followed. Word of what would become High Violet began to spread in 2008.

And, it had been three years since its successor Boxer (2007) hoisted the indie quintet into ever-higher echelons of fame. When my preordered bundle of High Violet treasures finally landed, I was aflutter, but trepidatious.
