Lewis «Lewie» Steinberg (født 13. september 1933 i Memphis i Tennessee, død 21. juli 2016 samme sted) var en amerikansk studiomusiker og låtskriver, mest kjent som originalmedlem av Booker T. & the M.G.'s. Han var bassist i bandet fra 1962 til 1965, og var blant annet med på å skrive hitlåten «Green Onions».

27 de jul. de 2016 · Original Booker T. & the M.G.’s bassist Lewie Steinberg has passed away after a battle with cancer. He was 82 years old. Steinberg was born in 1933 in Memphis, Tennessee. While many people associate Donald “Duck” Dunn with the M.G.’s, Steinberg was the group’s first bassist and recorded on the first two albums: Green Onions and Soul Dressing.
