I mainly know him from his work with Queens of the Stone Age but I know he’s been pretty influential himself and with Screaming Trees. So hearing some of his solo work is interesting, and yea I like it!

His addiction became the centerpiece for the sound and the themes behind “Whiskey for the Holy Ghost.”. For the majority of the part, I thought it was a pleasant but vulnerable listen. The album is a mix of alt-country, blues, and folk.
