16 de oct. de 2023 · Embrya was a completely different album from Urban Hang Suite, emphasizing funky basslines and groove over jazzy melodies. The lyrics were also much more esoteric and spiritual. Embrya was not as successful as Urban Hang Suite, critically or commercially, with a lot of listeners being confounded by the lyrics and mood of the album.
Maxwell :Embrya Vinyl LP. We purchased this on cd "back in the day"(basically means can`t remember when exactly!) & I`ve always believed that this fabulous album "suffered" because of "Urban hang suite". Yes U.H.S is a great LP but Embrya on vinyl IS BETTER!
