Alderson Broaddus University Closing!!! This is a follow up to a warning about the Alderson Broaddus PA program. The West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission made the decision to revoke the university’s ability to award degrees starting December 31, 2023. I don’t know if CASPA will suspend the ability to apply to the program.
31 de ago. de 2023 · Alderson Broaddus University, which has spent the past two months teetering on the edge of failure, filed for bankruptcy Thursday and told its employees, students and alumni that it would close. “It is with heavy heart that we announce the final closure of our beloved Alderson Broaddus University effective today,” the university’s statement said.

História. A universidade foi fundada em 1871 em Winchester (Virgínia) como Instituto Broaddus pelo ministro batista Edward Jefferson Willis. [1] Em 1876 mudou-se para Clarksburg (Virgínia Ocidental), depois para Philippi (Virgínia Ocidental) em 1909.[2] Em 1917 mudou seu nome para Broaddus College and Academy.Em 1932, fundiu-se com a Alderson Academy para formar o Alderson Broaddus College.
