The musicianship is incredible, both Grossman and Renbourn are masters of the acoustic guitar. That is indisputable. What is the issue with this lp is a lack of diversity or edge that would encourage engagement.

5 de dic. de 2011 · John Renbourn had already been established as a folk guitar player who had dabbled in jazz, blues and classical influences. Stefan Grossman was already established as an American blues and ragtime player and the fusion of these two great musicians together was bound to lead to something magic. This second studio album is very impressive indeed.
