1 de nov. de 2006 · Split Enz are best known for their 1980s New Wave period when they wrote and recorded a series of excellent albums filled with catchy radio-friendly songs. Those are all great records, but I don't think they ever matched the emotional complexity and depth of Mental Notes. It's a strange record, but a work of genius in its own way.
