15 de nov. de 2016 · Both were fine pianists, but Hopkins just played (as far as I know), and Russell was also a singer (in his own fashion), an excellent composer, and a bandleader. I must say that every example of Nicky Hopkins' playing that I can think of added a whole lot to that record. He could bring something to a song that took it to another level.
