  2. Allan Glen's School Club. Allan Glen's Endowment Trust. The Allan Glen's Endowment Scholarship Trust awards scholarships to students from Glasgow schools who are accepted to study engineering at a British university. In the academic year 2022 to 2023 AGEST is supporting 12 students in their engineering studies at Scottish universities.

  3. The school building has an alternative community use as the Phoenix Centre, for complimentary therapies (2010). Some original features, such as timber partitions and tiled walls are extant in the interior, alongside later work from the 1960s and 1970s when the building served as an annexe for Allan Glen's School.

  4. Allan Glen's School had a long and proud histoy of playing rugby, with playing fields at Bishpbriggs. Although the school was latterly under the control of Glasgow City Council and its predecessors, the playing fields were never actually owned by them, and on closure of the school the School Club became owners of the ground, now known as the Bearyards.

  6. 2 de abr. de 2010 · About the memorial: Leather bound paper book of remembrance in a glass fronted wooden case from school. School has closed . There is a copy in the University of Strathclyde Archives. Dedicated 27 April 1949. It was originally in the Barony Church (now the Barony Hall),not the School, and was relocated from there sometime after 2013.

    The school building became the Allan Glen Campus. The City of Glasgow College later consolidated its eleven sites across Glasgow into just two, located at the Nautical College site, and the Allan Glen's site. This required the demolition of the old AGS building to make way for a large complex covering the whole area down to Cathedral Street.
