All Tommy wants from life is what everyone else has—a job, a girl, a good time. But the harder he tries, the worse things get. And the more time he spends at Trees Lounge, his Long Island neighborhood bar, the more involved he gets with the lives of the colorful characters he meets there.
Trees Lounge however presents mme with one of the rare movies that I wish were longer. I wanted this movie to keep going, I wanted to see what else would happen to the characters. While the film doesn't entirely paint the happy bar room existence that Barfly did it does make a pretty accurate portrail of good portion of the drinkers culture.
Trees Lounge is 1429 on the JustWatch Daily Streaming Charts today. The movie has moved up the charts by 663 places since yesterday. In Australia, it is currently more popular than Chinatown but less popular than The Firm. Synopsis. Tommy has lost his job, his love and his life.
