It was actually Johnny's cousin, named Santo J. Farina, born in 1939, not his brother Santo A. Farina, from Santo and Johnny, born in 1937, who had passed away. Jun 9, 2016.

Santo and Johnny are the Farina brothers. They were a Brooklyn guitar duo, and they had one more hit, the #23 "Tear Drop," which charted a few months later.
