Shrewsbury is an academic and selective school. Its exam results in 2022 were very good, with 58% of A-grades at A-Level and 73% 9-7 grades at GCSE. Shrewsbury is well-known for its great offer of academic enrichment courses, including everything from accounting to debating. Languages on offer are German, French, Spanish and Latin.

Ms Peak joined Shrewsbury from Loretto School in 2012 and was initially Housemistress of Mary Sidney Hall, and at the heart of pioneering full co-education. She teaches Geography, Personal And Social Development and has a Geography BA and PGCE from the University of Exeter. Anna has always known she wanted to be a teacher.
