While you are probably familiar with David's vocals and bass work as part of the bands The Alan Parsons Project and Pilot, you may not realize how much more there is out there. Not only has he worked extensively with Elton John, Rick Wakeman, and Fish in the studio and live, he has been one of the most sought after bass players in the industry.
2019 brings us the long anticipated release of the new album by David Paton of PILOT and THE ALAN PARSONS PROJECT fame. The Traveller: Another Pilot Project is David’s follow-up to 2014’s A PILOT PROJECT. The album showcases David as a singer, musician, and producer, as David reimagines 11 classic tunes from THE ALAN PARSONS PROJECT.
David is a Module Leader in BA Drawing and Lecturer in Fine Art at Falmouth University. He is an artist-researcher and specialist in Cornish granite - Buckle and Twist.
