As someone who’s in their late 20s, I am genuinely jealous of children. This isn’t to say I wish I was a child. There’s obvious perks to being an adult but looking at kids being so care-free and optimistic gives me a sad yet nostalgic feeling. I was once like that. Getting older and life can feel so habitual.

Pay attention to what they’re saying. Make eye contact. When they feel heard and respected, they are more prone to listen to and respect you.
