Arthur Lowe (22 September 1915 – 15 April 1982) was an English actor. His acting career spanned 37 years, including starring roles in numerous theatre and television productions.

Arthur Lowe was a British actor who starred in Dad's Army, Coronation Street and other comedies. He also appeared in films such as Kind Hearts and Coronets and If...., and died in 1982 after a stroke.
