I spent too much time hypothesizing what moths all the characters are based on and personally I thought that the black and white tiger moth suited Valentino best. The swirly design fits well with his overall look, especially the lining of his coat, and how he moves. The colouring, fluff level, and patterns are pretty accurate too.

In the series proper, Valentino has a Hispanic accent that he switched into randomly. He also speaks some Spanish words. My question is: What is Valentino’s ethnicity? Joel Perez, the voice actor for Val, is Puerto Rican. Just to reiterate, I know that Val is Hispanic; I just want your theories on what specific Spanish ethnicity he is?
23 de ene. de 2024 · Theory Vaggie and Valentino are related. This may be a stretch but hear me out. They are both moths, while not super obvious for Vaggie it is stated that she is based on a moth. Vaggie's eye has a pinkish sclera while Val has a fully pinkrey than just grey. Then again (I am not an expert so take this with a grain of salt) genetically speaking ...

I think this is the answer. Or at the very least one of the reasons behind this phenomenon. Characters like Valentino are easy to hate because they hit home with a lot more people. Characters like Alastor are easy to dismiss because it's not like you'll ever come across a serial killer in your life. Reply reply.
14 de ago. de 2021 · Not only is he a rapist, but he is also physically abusive AND has a short temper. Like, he killed his pet dog Queef just cause he annoyed him. And he broke Vox' faceScreen and posted it on Voxtagram just because he got him a drink he doesn't like. Valentino is a realistic monster. Edit: Maybe her past abusive partner inspired Valentino.
