It is a continuation of the 2016 series The Young Pope, originally announced as its second season. [1] The nine-episode series stars Jude Law, reprising his role as the fictional Pope Pius XIII, and John Malkovich as the fictional Pope John Paul III, the titular new pope. [2]
The Sympathizer is a spy thriller based on a novel by Viet Thanh Nguyen, starring Robert Downey Jr. and Sandra Oh. The series has one season with seven episodes, but no season 3 is announced or confirmed.
