In 2016, Kaulitz announced his plans for a solo project under the moniker "Billy" (stylized as BILLY). His first EP, I'm Not OK, was released on 20 May. Dream Machine (2016–2018) Tokio Hotel announced their sixth studio album, Dream Machine, in 2016 and it was released on 3 March 2017.
