Curriculum Intent. At Beacon Academy, the Technology department believe in knowledge in action. We structure our projects and curriculum over 7 years to build on student’s prior knowledge and skills, to ensure our student become responsible, well-informed members of society.
Beacon Academy's rigorous academic program elevates students' English, math, writing, etc., to be successful in independent high schools.
At Key Stage 3 we deliver a traditional three-year curriculum at Beacon because students need to develop broad, rich knowledge and be able to make links between subjects to be successful. Students are divided into two bands and there are approximately 140 students in each.
