I couldn't find anything specific but the closet I could get is it is a variant of a Western style dragon. Atleast in the form that tatsumi takes when tyrant takes over. Otherwise based on the information we have about the original tyrant, he could actually be a Drake as I don't think it originally had wings.
In the manga Tyrant isn't outright killed I think it says that Tatsumi feels the soul of tyrant faint but not fully gone. This means that supposedly the Tyrant wasn't even at 100% control or peak performance when it was attacking eadeath and Akame.
