The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap is an action-adventure game and the twelfth entry in The Legend of Zelda series. Developed by Capcom and Flagship, with Nintendo overseeing the development process, The Minish Cap was released for the Game Boy Advance in Japan and Europe in 2004 and in North America and Australia the following year.
The Minish Cap se refiere a la leyenda que transcurre en torno a la Espada Cuádruple, siendo los otros juegos The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords y The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures. El juego es una precuela de Four Swords y revela alguna información sobre la historia de los juegos colectivos.
El juego comienza con el prólogo del juego, en donde se cuenta la leyenda del héroe que salvó al mundo de los hombres hace mucho tiempo, donde los Minish, una raza que descendió de los cielos, ayudó a este héroe dándole la legendaria Espada Minish y una brillante luz dorada conocida como la Fuerza Dorada.
