19 de may. de 2021 · Tal y como hemos sabido gracias a Louder Sound, una extraña pintura hecha por un joven Barret está ahora en subasta. La pintura fue realizada cuando el líder de la banda británica tenía quince años de edad fruto de una mezcla de una mezcla de acuarelas y pasteles.

Syd’s Art From 1978 Onwards. After his last solo performances, Syd returned to his first love and spent the rest of his life painting and drawing at home in Cambridge.
En sus años mozos de estudiante Barrett descubrió su lado innovador y expresivo a través de la pintura, donde ya expresaba mundos abstractos de patrones y colores que probaban su ingenio y peculiar forma de percibir su entorno.
