Metro Early College High School is a small, public STEM high school open to students in Central Ohio. It is an early college program focused on problem-based learning with an emphasis on STEM practices (science, technology, engineering, and math).
The Metro Early College High School is a semi-public, non-charter privately funded high school located in Columbus, Ohio; on the campus of Ohio State University. It is also a part of the Metro Schools, along with the Metro Middle School. The Metro Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) was another branch of the school, but was closed in 2017.

Metro Early College High School focuses on Mastery Learning and 21st Century Skills. As a small STEM school, learning is personalized to meet the needs of the students by providing authentic opportunities both inside and outside of the school building, thus expanding the borders of the classroom.
