Though Sokka is enthusiastic at the changes, Katara fears that their tribe is losing its cultural identity. While dining out with Malina and her brother Maliq, the northerners in charge of the redevelopment process, thieves steal a briefcase containing important documents from Maliq, with Malina getting injured in the struggle.
There's a ridiculous amount of oil in the South, and Maliq and Malina want to nationalize it. Malina just changed her mind after meeting Hakoda. Bittersweet Ending: Malina is accepted into Katara and Sokka's family/circle of friends, and none of the main characters die.

13 de feb. de 2016 · The name brought my attention because maybe this Malina character in the upcoming North and South might be Unalaq's wife or future wife and we might see some connection between the Northern Water Tribe and the Southern Water Tribe, like in LOK: Book 2 Spirits.
