Adolescents and young adults between 14 and 25 years are affected, and there is a distinct male predominance.

El angiofibroma juvenil es un tumor no canceroso (benigno) poco frecuente que crece en la parte posterior de la nariz, en la misma zona donde están las vegetaciones . Interior de la garganta. Los angiofibromas juveniles son más frecuentes entre los adolescentes varones. El tumor contiene muchos vasos sanguíneos.
