  2. 9 de mar. de 2023 · Myocardial revascularization has been advocated to improve myocardial function and prognosis in ischemic cardiomyopathy and is widely practiced, with an increasing proportion of revascularization being done, but evidence for its benefits and for the role of ischemia and viability detection in guiding treatment is very limited.

  3. The jeopardy score is a simple method for estimating the amount of myocardium at risk on the basis of the particular location of coronary artery stenoses. In patients with a previous myocardial infarction, higher jeopardy scores were associated with a lower left ventricular ejection fraction.

  4. Evaluate whether PCI in combination with optimal medical therapy (OMT) will reduce all-cause death and hospitalization for HF compared to a strategy of OMT alone. Ischemic cardiomyopathy (ICM) is the most common cause of heart failure (HF) and is associated with significant mortality and morbidity.

  5. 11 de nov. de 2019 · Introduction: Ischemic cardiomyopathy (ICM) is the most common cause of left ventricular systolic dysfunction (LVSD) but only a small proportion of patients undergo investigations to establish etiology.

  6. 22 de may. de 2024 · In the REVIVED-BCIS2 (Revascularization for Ischemic Ventricular Dysfunction) trial, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) did not reduce the incidence of death or hospitalization for heart failure (HHF).

  7. Our aim was to investigate whether quantifying the extent of coronary disease on angiography can predict the presence of an ischemic etiology. We included 176 patients who underwent CMR and coronary angiography for new heart failure with reduced ejection fraction.
