Hyman Roth (born Hyman Suchowsky) is a fictional character and the main antagonist in the 1974 film The Godfather Part II. He is also a minor character in the 2004 novel The Godfather Returns.
Marcia Roth was Hyman Roth's wife. She lived with him at his home in Miami, Florida. It is unknown what happened to her after Roth was extradited and later assassinated by Rocco Lampone. She was played by Fay Spain. In the original script she was known as Terri Roth.
Her final appearance as a film actress came in 1974, when she portrayed the wife of mobster Hyman Roth ( Lee Strasberg) in The Godfather Part II (1974).
By the late 1950s, Roth was based in Miami and lived like a typically quiet, middle-class Jewish man with his wife Marcia, approaching old age — though in reality he is a multi-millionaire and powerful crime boss.
