Sinopsis. Houseki no Kuni se establece en un futuro lejano, en una tierra habitada por formas de vidas inmortales llamadas Houseki (gemas), quienes están hechas de gemas. An anime television series adaptation aired in Japan between October 7 and December 23, 2017. Takahiko Kyōgoku directed the series at the Orange CG animation studio. Toshiya Ono wrote series scripts and Yōichi Nishikawa created the concept art. Asako Nishida designed the characters.

It is produced by the computer graphics (CG) animation studio Orange and directed and written by Takahiko Kyōgoku and Toshiya Ono, respectively.
