The Communication, Culture & Technology Program accepts applications for the Fall semester according to the deadlines below. Note that if you apply by January 15, we will waive the application fee.

  3. Communication, Culture & Technology (CCT) is a Master of Arts degree and flagship interdisciplinary program at Georgetown’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Since 1996, we have been studying the impact of technology on society, using tools from multiple disciplines to develop fresh insight and solutions.

  4. Communication, Culture & Technology students cut across institutional and disciplinary boundaries to explore how we use media and technology to communicate from social, economic, political, and cultural perspectives.

  5. Here's what you need to know about applying to the Communication Culture & Technology program, including the process, timeline, and funding.

  6. Students must complete 36 credits with a minimum GPA of 3.0 to be eligible for the Master of Arts degree in Communication, Culture, and Technology. In completing 36 credits, Communication, Culture & Technology students must: Complete the core required course, CCTP-5005, in the first Fall term.
