1 de feb. de 2020 · On 30 December 2023, the Council of the European Union agreed to lift the air and sea internal border controls with Bulgaria and Romania. Both Member States fully apply the Schengen acquis from 31 March 2024; from that date onwards controls at internal air and sea borders have been lifted.
