La bandera de la República de Cuba es uno de los símbolos oficiales de este país. Fue creada en 1849 por Miguel Teurbe Tolón por petición del militar Narciso López en Nueva York , adoptada por la Asamblea Constituyente de Guáimaro , reunida en 1869.

The national flag of Cuba ( Spanish: Bandera de Cuba) consists of five alternating stripes (three blue and two white) and a red equilateral triangle at the hoist, within which is a white five-pointed star. It was designed in 1849 and officially adopted May 20, 1902. The flag is referred to as the Estrella Solitaria, or the Lone Star flag. [1] .

La bandera de Cuba fue adoptada el 20 de mayo de 1902 y consta de cinco franjas alternas azules y blancas, que empiezan y terminan con una azul. En el izado hay un triángulo rojo con una estrella blanca de cinco puntas en el centro.
