Christopher Julius Rock (born February 7, 1965) is an American comedian, actor, and filmmaker. He first gained prominence for his stand-up routines in the 1980s, where he tackled subjects including race relations, human sexuality, and observational comedy.
Comenzó a iniciarse como comediante durante 1984 actuando en clubes nocturnos y de comedia de Nueva York, llegando a actuar en el Catch a Rising Star, donde antes otros célebres humoristas como Billy Crystal, Jerry Seinfeld, Eddie Murphy o Adam Sandler entre otros, habían trabajado.
