The mask is his "face". He wears it on his current main body, especially when dealing with Prushka and guests, because that's what people expect to see and associate with him, and several completely different men introducing themselves as Bondrewd would make people suspicious.

I think the mask being just for Prushka is false. If i recall correctly, it was suggested by Nanachi in manga, but it's not entirely true. It might be in a way for him to make himself separate from other Umbra Hands, a physical thing that separates him from his spare bodies.
