The Wallowa Mountains ( / wəˈlaʊwə /) are a mountain range located in the Columbia Plateau of northeastern Oregon in the United States. The range runs approximately 40 miles (64 km) northwest to southeast in southwestern Wallowa County and eastern Union County between the Blue Mountains to the west and the Snake River to the east.

26 de ene. de 2024 · Walla Walla is nestled inside the Walla Walla Valley, which is located just west of the Blue Mountains and east of the convergence of the Columbia and Snake Rivers. The valley, which extends partly into the northeastern corner of neighboring Oregon, has enviable growing conditions for Rhône and Bordeaux varietals.
April is a fantastic time to visit Walla Walla: the changing seasons bring the Blue Mountains alive in shades of vibrant green, mild temperatures set the stage for enjoyable outdoor recreation, and the area wineries are celebrating Walla Walla Wine Month.

The city is packed full of wineries, historic buildings, and excellent restaurants. There are over 120 wineries in the Walla Walla Wine Valley. Walla Walla is known as “the town so nice, they named it twice!”
